Free Shipping:

Orders that total $150.00 or more will ship for free in the continental United States. Some oversized or extra heavy items will not qualify. If an item does not qualify for free shipping the additional shipping costs will be shown prior to check out. Free Shipping only applies to orders in the Continental United States. International orders DO NOT qualify for free shipping.


International Orders:
The cost of shipping for international orders (including Canadian) can be significantly higher depending on the country. Actual shipping costs for web orders will be applied to your purchase when it is ready for shipment. You will receive two charges to your credit card. The first charge will be for merchandise when your order is placed. The second charge will be processed when your order has been filled and is ready for shipment. International orders will not be charged shipping until the order is ready to ship. Any amounts that may occur at the time of the order will not apply. Any specials, such as free shipping are for Continental United States orders only. If you have any questions about shipping costs please contact The Wasatch Musician prior to placing your order. Oversized Items:
Items that are considered oversized, such as instrument cases, amplifiers, etc. that are purchased from our site incur additional shipping charges. These items are generally identified on our site. Oversized items incur additional shipping charges and are not included in shipping offers, unless specifically represented as included. In some instances these charges will be added to your purchase total when the order is processed for shipping.


Return Policy

We at The Wasatch Musician want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from us. The Wasatch Musician makes every effort to provide the best merchandise available to meet the needs of our customers. We do realize that there may be occasions, that an item, for whatever reason, may not suit the exact needs of the purchaser. We are happy to provide refunds, credit or exchanges on all our merchandise, subject to the following terms:

General Merchandise:
Items purchased from The Wasatch Musician can be returned for a refund, credit, or exchange within 10 days from the date of receipt, if the items are in fully salable new condition, and returned with all packing materials and accessories. There are some exceptions to the 10-day return policy, these exceptions are listed below. If you need to return an item please call The Wasatch Musician at 801.748.2616 or toll free at 866.751.6040 you will be provided with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping any merchandise. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of all packages returned to The Wasatch Musician along with a copy or your original receipt. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by transit from you to us, or improper packaging. Please make sure you pack your items securely, The Wasatch Musician strongly recommends that you insure all items of substantial value. In cases where a manufacturers defect occurs, we may ask you to contact the manufacturer directly in an attempt to save time. In most cases, unless an item is defective, or improperly shipped by us, the customer is responsible for return shipping, and insurance. Items that are returned without a RMA and or later than the 10-day return period, will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.

Instruments:
All instruments sold by The Wasatch Musician, excluding custom built, and those where modifications have been requested by the customer have a 72-hour inspection and evaluation period. This inspection period begins upon confirmed delivery to the instruments destination. During the inspection period, an instrument can be returned for any reason. The instrument does have to be returned in its original delivered condition. In the event a return is necessary, the customer must contact The Wasatch Musician for return authorization (RMA), repack the instrument and all accessories, in the manner it was shipped to them. Once return authorization has been obtained and the instrument packed for shipping, customer may return the instrument to The Wasatch Musician prepaid. We recommend insuring the item for its full value. The Wasatch Musician cannot be responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Instruments that have been modified by the customer, or any agent of the customer, or by The Wasatch Musician at the customers request, custom instruments, and instruments with damage not properly reported at time of receipt, are not returnable. The Wasatch Musician reserves the right to repair, or have repaired, any instrument that is returned with damage from excessive handling, or any other defect that caused by the customer that would make the instrument, in our sole judgment, unsellable as new. We also reserve the right to charge the customer for such work and/or reduction in selling price. Instruments returned without the proper RMA, or after the 72-hour evaluation period, may be refused or charged a 15% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance in both directions, unless an item was incorrectly shipped by The Wasatch Musician, or is found to be defective. Free shipping applies to items that are kept by the customer. Should an item be returned, if at our discretion, a refund is given, all shipping costs incurred by The Wasatch Musician will be deducted from the price to be refunded the customer.
